From Overwhelm to Balance
Oliver Blackwood
Marketing DirectorOliver joined our programme in early 2024 after experiencing chronic work stress. What struck us about his journey was how quickly he grasped that mental health isn't about eliminating challenges — it's about building resilience to handle them better.
Evidence Behind the Stories
Understanding what actually works in mental health education
What Our Research Shows
We've been tracking outcomes from our programmes since 2022, working with researchers from the University of Edinburgh to understand what makes the difference in mental health education.
People who engage with structured mental health learning show measurable improvements in stress management and emotional regulation within 8-12 weeks.
But here's what really matters: these aren't temporary changes. Follow-up studies show that participants maintain their improved coping strategies months later. The key seems to be combining evidence-based techniques with practical, everyday application.
Our research also revealed something interesting about timing. People who start mental health education during stable periods in their lives tend to build stronger foundations than those who begin during crisis moments.
Programme Evolution
How our understanding of mental health education has developed
Foundation Research
Started tracking which mental health concepts participants found most practical. Discovered that self-awareness techniques had the strongest correlation with long-term positive outcomes.
Programme Refinement
Integrated feedback from over 200 participants to focus on stress management and emotional regulation. Added more interactive elements based on learning preferences.
Validation Studies
Partnered with academic institutions to validate our approach. Results showed significant improvements in participants' ability to manage daily stressors and maintain emotional balance.
